Come and Sing 2019

Our Come and Sing Day on September 28th was a very busy and enjoyable day, when we welcomed singers from all over the country – indeed all over the world! Handel choruses were sung with gusto and everyone enjoyed learning Bob Chilcott’s Singing by Numbers.

  Our autumn concert of music by Mozart was a huge success, thanks in large part to our soloists. While Brian Kay took a well-earned break in Spring 2015, Bob Chilcott stepped in as guest conductor. We learned a lot about listening to each other, and enjoyed rehearsing his own Requiem alongside Spring from Haydn’s Seasons.

The Cotswold Chamber Orchestra accompanied us for our November concert. We stretched our wings by teaming up the contemporary composer Morten Lauridsen with Mozart, which made an interesting combination.
